Hub and spoke approach

Our industry uses a mix of techniques to achieve results. These can include research, creative services, live communications, training and e-learning, travel and events, award development and fulfilment, and database and web development.

Our competitors believe having these skills in-house is always beneficial. It’s not.

We’ve worked in agencies that are run like that. No agency can consistently recruit and retain best in class skills in every discipline and often a person with the wrong skill-set is used to deliver a project, simply because they were the resource that was available at the time.

Perhaps the biggest drawback though, is that having the resource ‘in-house’ simply costs more because clients end up paying for it whether they use it or not.  Agencies just can’t escape that commercial reality, no matter how hard they try!end
